About TexRec

TexRec opened in 2009 with one instructor, a rented pool lane, and a bet: that North Texans wanted more from diving than a strip-mall certification mill. Seventeen years and five thousand divers later, we're still a small shop on purpose — classes capped at six students, private instruction for anyone who wants it, instructors you'll know by name, and standards we don't bend. We train and certify through TDI-SDI and RAID.

Our home base in Burleson has a heated indoor training pool, a full retail and rental counter, and a classroom that smells faintly of neoprene. Checkout dives happen at Clear Springs Scuba Park in Terrell and Athens Scuba Park — real open water, forty minutes from downtown Dallas.
